As part of Netroots Nation 2025, hosted in New Orleans, LA, Roberta Braga and Cristina Tardaguila hosted a training on prebunking, a proactive strategy to help communicators recognize tactics of manipulation online and create content that builds community resilience to misinformation.

Based on DDIA’s prebunking interventions research, the session provided 14 best practices for producing culturally competent prebunking content with a focus on Latinos and explored how humor, entertainment, and trusted messengers enhance impact.
