On July 9, 2025, the Digital Democracy Institute of the Americas (DDIA) hosted a briefing to share the first bilingual analysis of X’s community moderation tool. Based on over 1.7 million Community Notes, the presentation revealed how the system functions, identified language-based disparities, and offered data-driven insights into participation patterns and platform design challenges in decentralized moderation.
