DDIA Founder and Executive Director Roberta Braga joined the Carnegie Council for Ethics in International Affairs in New York City for its second Illiberal Narratives Workshop on September 10, 2025.

Participants explored Post-Liberal Soft Power: The View from Europe, AI and Illiberal Narratives, Competition at the Center of U.S. Foreign Policy, and more.

This roundtable was a continuation of previous discussions that contributed to the publication of the Carnegie Council's Illiberal Narratives and Shifting Values: Examining Competing Visions of the U.S. and its Role in the World, a report authored by James Ketterer and Kevin Maloney that included insights from these closed-door conversations.
